This work is a set of 4 variations on the Minuet in G major, attributed to J.-S. Bach/Christian Petzold and included in the 1725 Anna Magdalena Bach's Notebook. The initial ornamental Vivace is followed by a rhythmical Scoppettiante (crackling) with irregular bars and displaced accents. A Largamente, molto rubato, quasi improvvisato gives full liberty to the expressiveness of the performer before the joyful motoric and conclusive toccata like Con moto.

Cette œuvre est un ensemble de 4 variations ​sur le Menuet en sol majeur, attribué à J.-S. Bach/Christian Petzold et inclus dans le Cahier d'Anna Magdalena Bach de 1725. L​'initial​ Vivace ornemental est suivi d'un Scoppettiante (​crépitant) rythmique avec des mesures irrégulières et des accents déplacés. Un Largamente, molto rubato, quasi improvvisato laisse toute liberté à l'expressivité de l'interprète avant la toccata conclusive, Con moto, pleine d’énergie et de joie.
