NOUR - Holy Land Rhapsody (LUMIÈRE – Rhapsodie de Terre Sainte) est une oeuvre symphonique bâtie sur une thématique empruntée au folklore levantin (Dommak doom, Arrozana, Lamma bada yatahanna, Ya hweydalak, Weyn a Ramallah et Marmar zamani) ou inspirée de son caractère. Les couleurs harmoniques s’épanouissent à partir des lignes mélodiques. L’instrumentation pour orchestre de chambre conjugue la transparence de l’écriture concertante avec l’ossature d’un contrepoint de timbres et de superpositions rythmiques.  

NOUR (LIGHT) - Holy Land Rhapsody is a symphonic work based on a thematic material borrowed to the levantine folklore (Dommak doom, Arrozana, Lamma bada yatahanna, Ya hweydalak, Weyn a Ramallah and Marmar zamani) or inspired its character. The colourful harmonies bloom out of the melodic lines. The instrumentation for chamber orchestra conjugates the transparence of the concertante texture with the frame of the countrepoint of timbres and rhythmical superimpositions.
